The Design Library has the world’s largest and best organized collections of documentary fabrics, original paintings, wallpapers, embroideries and yarn dyes, numbering over seven million designs that dates all the way from the 1750s to the present. They are sorted into over 1200 categories and is a source of inspiration to the fashion, home, and paper industries. What we find brilliant is that the collection is filled with creative work mostly by anonymous artists who now are a source of inspiration for world class designers. The library is only accessible by appointments only but their instagram account is full of inspiration!
