A Dictionary of Colour

A Dictionary of Colour Combinations is a book that is derived from the original 6-volume book created in the 1930s by artist, Sanzo Wada. This book offers 348 different beautiful color combinations making it an awesome tool for inspiring by new color pairings. Here’s a digital version.

Being an artist, art school instructor, costume designer, and kimono designer, Sanzo Wada was quick to recognize the importance of color and laid the foundation down for color research by creating his 6-volume series, “Haishoku Soukan”.
